For the past 10 Years I and my family have smoked and served pulled pork for Hooper Tomato Days Town BBQ, this year we smoked over 750 lbs of Pork Shoulder. Normally it take about 4 hours to pull the pork. This year with the Pork Shredder we were done in about 1 1/2 hours. Much easier and less mess. My 2 teen age grandsons did most of the shredding with ease. This is one on the best cooking tools ever. It took longer to get the fat off and remove the bone than it did to shred the meat. Placed two to three deboned and defatted butts in a large stock pot and 15 to 20 seconds later you have perfectly shredded pork. Taking my time to clean the fat off the butts and to debone them my brother and I did all 16 butts in well under 30 minutes. If we had worked fast it could be done in about 10 to 15 minutes. |
