The juicer was ok, but the shredder shot my cabbage across the counter, til I found a really big bowl (it's a 2 man job in the infomercial). The third time I used the Bullet, I tried making some dough. The motor overheated after about a minute, then smoke poured out of the machine. I scraped out the dough and used my KitchenAid to finish the job (easily I might add). Fortunately the motor worked again after it cooled down. Check other sites you'll find this and other worse issues to be common problems - including poor customer service. Save your money. The juicer worked OK. When we tried to process come cooked meat it stopped after 1 minute. After it cooled off a little it started to work again and stopped very shortly again. The instructions say you can't use it for more 3 minutes at a time. Then you should let it cool up to 1 hour. Who in their right mind will wait for 1 hour to start using it again? Tell me how could you make a meal in 8 minutes as they advertise. I gave is a 3 star because I only used it for over a week so I don't have enough experience with all the features. The brand was recommended by those who had good experience with the Magic Bullet. I always worried about things that can do everything (kind of like the Veg-o-Matic of the 1960's- it slices and dices etc), but the wife wanted a powerful juicer. After trying it out, I noticed a lot of flimsy plastic parts that will someday break such as the locking tabs. Also the blades are difficult to remove especially if you have arthritis. The blade removal tool is a cheap 4 inch tool that doesn't give you much mechanical advantage to pull the blade out, so you have to use a lot of force to change blades. The blades are press fit (plastic to plastic) so there is a lot of resistance to extracting it (possible danger in getting cut).
